I wrote and won my first grant in 2001 and immediately fell in love with the process. In the ensuing years, I have won grants from the Department of State, the Environmental Protection Agency, HRSA, SAMHSA, various NIH agencies, the Lilly Endowment, the Hewlett Foundation, the Packard Foundation, and numerous other private foundations.
I can steward your organization through the entire grantsmanship process, helping you to design your project and bring on partners, if needed, and crafting a compelling proposal.
I am also able to assist with other writing and editing projects. I’ve worked as a journalist in Brussels, a marketer for the Peace Corps, and an educational radio producer.
I received my A.B. in psychology, with honors, from Wellesley College and my M.A. in international relations from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies.
